Databases
Cognex Designer allows access to different database types, including Microsoft® SQL Server® and SQLite databases, along with the creation of Designer databases.
Note:
- Designer only supports a limited number of data types, and may incorrectly interpret certain data types. For more information, see the Creating/Modifying a SQLite Database Without Designer topic.
- Designer does not close the connection to a previous database when the path to a SQLite database is updated. You must restart Designer to close the connection.
- A SQL query of a database cannot be performed via script.
- Do not use the ANALYZE command on a database being used by Designer.
