Getting Started with In-Sight® Spreadsheet

Cognex In-Sight Spreadsheet is a software interface for your In-Sight vision system. The In-Sight Spreadsheet allows you to build simple to complex vision applications, or jobs, through a cell-based interface. You can insert function tools into cells, edit function properties, and tie functions together to create jobs. The results and controls for function tools can be tied into the Cognex WebHMI for runtime use.

The In-Sight Spreadsheet provides the following functionalities:

• Configure complex jobs through a spreadsheet interface.

• Adjust device settings, such as the image source and the device image acquisition settings.

• Add tools to the job such as pattern, edge finding, measurement, and ViDi EL tools.

• Edit, delete, rearrange or copy and paste the tools in your job.

• Set up your FTP server connection and image write settings.

• Configure device input/output signals.
• Configure operator HMI.
