Reduced Space Symbology (RSS) Symbols

RSS symbols are used as the linear component of a Composite symbol. For more information, see Section 7.2 of the International Symbology Specification - EAN/UCC Composite Symbology™ (ITS/99-002), published by AIM International. According to this specification, restrictions are placed on which version of CC-A may appear above an RSS family component:

RSS-14 Stacked linear components may only be linked to a two-column CC-A components.
RSS Limited linear components may only be linked to a three-column CC-A component.
RSS-14 linear components may only be linked to a four-column CC-A component.
