Menu Bar – Format

Note: This menu is available only when the Spreadsheet Editor is open.

The Format menu provides options to change the visual appearance of the selected cell, row or column. It offers the following options:

Icon	Option	Description
	Cells	Opens the Format Cells Dialog, allowing you to configure the visual appearance of the selected cell(s), such as font type, foreground and background colors, content alignment, and so on.
	Row	Provides options for configuring the visual settings of the selected row. The available options are as follows: Height: Opens the Row Height dialog, allowing you to change the height of the row (in pixels). This setting is available even if only a single cell of the row is selected. Auto Fit: Fits the height of the row automatically to the current contents of its cells. This setting is available even if only a single cell of the row is selected. Hide: Hides the selected row. This setting is available only if the entire row is selected. Unhide: Reveals an already hidden row. This setting works only if both rows above and below the hidden row are selected.
	Column	Provides options for configuring the visual settings of the selected column. The available options are as follows: Width: Opens the Column Width dialog, allowing you to change the width of the column (in pixels). This setting is available even if only a single cell of the column is selected. Auto Fit: Fits the width of the column automatically to the current contents of its cells. This setting is available even if only a single cell of the column is selected. Hide: Hides the selected column . This setting is available only if the entire column is selected. Unhide: Reveals an already hidden column. This setting works only if both columns left and right of the the hidden column are selected.
