Replace Tags

The Replace Tags functionality scans the selected WebPage Elements for bindings with tags, which allows you to replace the tags without having to open every element's property binding.

1. To enable the Replace Tags button (available from the toolbar or the Edit menu), you must be on a WebPage, and have at least one element selected.

   

   Note: The Replace Tags option will be enabled if one or more element is selected.
2. With the desired elements selected, press the Replace Tags button.

3. This will launch the Tag Substitute dialog, where you can find and then replace the desired tag(s).

   • To perform a find and replace operation on all of the tag names in the selected elements, use the top two text fields and Replace All button.
   • To replace individual tags, use the bottom text fields and Replace button. The left side of the dialog displays all of the tags in the selected elements, and the right side is where the replacement can be defined.
