Web Pages

Web Pages are used to create a Human Machine Interface (HMI) user interface (UI) for your In-Sight vision system job while Online. These web pages can be displayed on an Internet Web Browser (Internet Explorer version 11 and Google Chrome version 68 or greater), using HTML5, or in the In-Sight ViDi adapter.

The HMI gives operators the ability to visualize data (images, graphics and/or data), and interact with the vision system. These web pages are created with the Web Page Editor, allowing you to create a run-time display by drag-and-dropping and then configuring various WebPage Elements. As such, when the job is online, you can hide all of the detailed formulas in the spreadsheet, and show only pertinent job data.

When graphics controls, such as an EditInt and/or EditRegion, are included in the WebPage, the operator on the production floor can make simple adjustments to the job, but they cannot modify formulas directly in the spreadsheet or property sheets of the Vision Tools.

When designing your HMI, consider what parameters should be configurable, the level of interaction the operator will be responsible for, and the layout and presentation of the interface.

Note:

You can interact with the WebPage Elements of a WebPage if:

If the job is offline, or the Disable When Frozen property of the element is checked with the HMI Filmstrip being Frozen, then the WebPage Elements will be inactive and cannot be used.
