The Cognex Mobile Barcode SDK enables enterprise grade barcode scanning using a smartphone or tablet's built-in camera. This powerful software developer kit supports over 35 different barcode types including Aztec, Code 11, Code 25, Code 39, Code 128, Codabar, Data Matrix, DotCode, GS1 Databar, EAN, UPC, JAN, QR Code, PDF417 MSI Plessey, MaxiCode, Postal Codes, Telepen, and others. The SDK is available for most popular operating systems like Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, and MacOS. The cmbSDK can also be used to develop mobile applications under Android and iOS for the Cognex MX series Mobile Terminals (all MX-1000, MX-1100, and MX-1502 models), as well as blue tooth enabled applications with the DM-8700 series of rugged handheld barcode readers. Use of the Cognex Mobile Barcode SDK requires the purchase of a license (except when used with an MX or DM-8700 device: no license is required). This sample application demonstrates the use of the cmbSDK in the MAUI environment (the cmbSDK plugin itself is available in NuGet).
