- Support for two International Organization for Standardization (ISO) compliant integrated verifier lights, the VeriLight Label, and the VeriLight Direct Part Mark (DPM). Control the lights with the integrated lght control function and calibrate reflectance-based measurements with CalibrateTruCheck.
- Creation of the In-Sight Field Upgrade License. Existing units in the field with ReadIDMax capability can now be upgraded to enable TruCheck Verification with the purchase of a Field Upgrade License. No new hardware required. Previously only available on pre-configured new units.
- Standards-Based Grading (SBG) is field upgradable on the In-Sight 7800, 7801, 7802, 7900, 7901, 7902, 7905, 8101, 8200, 8201, 8400, 8401, 8402, 8405, 8500, 8501, 8505, 9902, and 9912 models.
ADDITIONAL NOTE:
- Only In-Sight 6.3.x firmware releases should be used.
- The general In-Sight release path (6.4 and beyond) will not contain the TruCheck toolset.
WHAT IS STANDARDS-BASED GRADING?
Standards-Based Grading (SBG) is a software feature key that can be preloaded or activated on select DataMan fixed-mount barcode readers and In-Sight Vision systems to grade the quality of 1D and 2D barcodes. SBG uses the same verification grading algorithms, calibration process, and software user interface as DataMan verifiers but does not include the fixed angle lighting required in the ISO guidelines. SBG is ideal to use when existing barcode quality software, such as process control metrics (PCM), is not reliable enough.
