New Features
In-Sight ViDi 1.9.0 introduces the following new features and enhancements:
- New file cleanup feature implemented in the WriteImage and WriteData functions to prevent devices from running out of storage space.
- Integrated ViDi 4.1.4, which adds support for additional GPU drivers.
Bug Fixes
In addition to the new features, several bugs were fixed in this release including:
- Resolved issue with vision systems entering a misconfigured state after an annulus rasterization crash.
- Resolved issue with incorrect handling of directory separators causing a bad lexical cast error.
- Resolved issue with increased inspection time after pausing and unpausing a D900 while in Online state.
- Resolved issue with CalibrateGrid function not working after upgrading to IS ViDi 1.8.0.
- Resolved issue with incorrect clipping of SVG images with result graphics.
- Resolved issue with irregular Job Time spikes when saving images.
- Resolved issue where moving added regions in the EditCompositeRegion function creates WPF dispatcher exceptions.
- Resolved issue with the TransformImage function returning results in calibrated units instead of pixels.
- Resolved issue with the TransPixelToWorld function returning an error when referencing calibration data imported with the ImportData function.
- Resolved issue with websocket masking causing inconsistent job loading times.
Note: To successfully install all the changes that come with In-Sight ViDi 1.9.0, you must manually uninstall the previous ViDi 4.1.3 version from the PC before installing IS ViDi 1.9.0. Failure to uninstall ViDi 4.1.3 results in the ViDi 4.1.4 version failing to install as part of the In-Sight ViDi 1.9.0 installer, and some bugs that are resolved by the 4.1.4 update continue to be present.
