VisionPro Core 25.2 is the latest release of the VisionPro Core software, which supports Microsoft .NET 8.0. This release introduces Edge Learning (EL) tools and delivers usability enhancements:
- New EL Tools: EL Segment and EL Classify are now available, offering inference speed and detection accuracy comparable to VisionPro 9.x.
- EL Segment Enhancements: Improved heatmap accuracy and generation on full-size images, enabling visualization from multiple EL Segment tools on the same image.
- EL Classify Enhancements: new out-of-distribution detection via an "Unclassified" class.
- UI Improvements for EL tools: Visible Model Health percentage, threshold settings in EL Classify, and resizable filmstrips to adjust image preview size and control how many images are visible. Please see release notes for details on additional improvements.
- API Changes: EL tools have been rewritten with updated namespaces and class names. VPP files containing EL tools from older versions (9.x) cannot be opened. The rest of the VisionPro API remains unchanged. Please see documentation for information on API changes.
This release does not include: EL OCR, SmartLine, DL Runtime tool, 3D tools, non-GigE acquisition, Designer support.

VisionPro Core does not support Linux.
VisionPro 9.x continues to support the .NET Framework.
