The DataMan 24.3.0 software package supports all active DataMan products, including a common Setup Tool. The primary goal of the DataMan 24.3.0 release is to further refine and supplement the functionality of DataMan 24.2.1. Besides general enhancements, bugfixes, and latest documentation, 24.3.0 installs updated firmware for newer DataMan platforms:
Firmware Version 6.4.2 SR1 and 6.5.2 SR1 (DataMan 580 and 380 Platforms)
- Second Ethernet port is now available, with user guidance provided in the Setup Tool reference manual and Q&A help.
- ENET 1 can be enabled alongside ENET 0. At least one port must have a static IP address, that is, both cannot use DHCP. The ports must exist in different networks, and they cannot share the same subnet.
- Industrial protocols can be assigned to either of the two Ethernet ports with an Factory Floor Protocol (FFP) Port dropdown.
- Postal Codes are available to select without requiring special permissions. Postal code performance should still be verified in the application, since other symbologies may show even more robust decoding performance in comparison.
- Assorted bug fixes.

- Fixed a Human Interface Device Point Of Sale (HID-POS) issue where the wireless reader can lose the last packet of long codes.
- Fixed a Data Validation issue where the report was missing the Data Qualifier type and the Data Elements.

- Fixed a bug where the device needs a trigger after bootup to switch I/O state.
- QR decode time is now more consistent on multicodes or damaged single codes.
- Verification improvements:
- Added the ability to customize the content on the report.
- Added individual scan line results to 1D verification on the report of DataMan475V and VS models.
- Improved report formatting to reduce its length.
- Added support for free text field 07 to encode Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) data fields.
- Added support for GS1 AI 03, 8013 and 8014 in GS1 Data Validation.
- Changed Unique Identifier (UID) data parsing to allow the current part number when it also contains the original part number.
- Fixed a bug related to PDF417 grading.
