Firmware Version 7.1.0 SR1 (DataMan 390 Platform)This update introduces new features and enhancements. Fixed-Mount WebUI now allows image upload, training, and saving in PNG format, plus advanced metrics access. Modbus TCP support and brightness/focus optimization are added. DM290 and DM390 platforms include Pharmacode symbology and improved AI Finder coverage. Bug fixes address issues with strobe output, image brightness, display, WebUI freezing, ROI adjustments, image shifting, SBG enabling, PROFINET errors, and multi-code controls.
Firmware Version 7.1.0 SR1 (DataMan 390 Platform)
- New features for the Fixed-Mount WebUI:
- Upload Image: you can upload an image through a dedicated menu or drag-and-drop, and rerun it.
- Train Image: you can train a code on an uploaded image.
- Save Image: the last image is saved as full lossless PNG. You can also save earlier images from the Result History in the Runtime step.
- Cancel or Stop Tuning: Cancel reverts to former settings, Stop immediately ends Tuning with the best candidate found.
- Industrial Protocols: added Modbus TCP to Industrial Ethernet.
- You can access advanced metrics for Tuning in the Details dropdown: exposure, gain, focus, HDR, ambient light percentage.
- New Optimize Brightness and Optimize Focus options are available under Image Acquisition in the Review substep.
- New features for the DM290 and DM390 platforms:
- Added Pharmacode symbology to DM290 and DM390. Pharamacode is disabled by default and has to be enabled in Setup Tool.
- Improved AI Finder coverage, also resulting in more a consistently exposed AI Enhancer overlay slider after Tuning.
- Bugfixes
- Fixed the strobe output for external lights.
- Corrected image brightness with displayed PNG images.
- Fixed image display issues with reduced FOV.
- Fixed an issue with the WebUI freezing on codes with specific control characters.
- Fixed an issue with ROI adjustments during Live mode.
- Fixed an issue with the image shifting vertically and being partly visible in Tuning.
- Fixed issues with SBG being enabled when codes are only partly seen or Scale filter is in use.
- Fixed an issue with PROFINET where a no-read did not fully clear out a previous result.
- Fixed an issue with multi-code where switching the Partial Results control did not update.
