In-Sight 1720 Series customers are allowed to embed the Cognex Wafer ID user interface into a custom application. However, the Wafer ID Display Control included with the In-Sight 1720 Series software installation does not allow developers to run their application in "debug" mode in their development environment (VB6, VC++ 6.0). The Wafer ID SDK 4.2.4 license file installation solves this problem.
This zip file contains 2 files:
- WaferID_SDK424.exe
- WaferID_SDK424.msi.
To install:
- Unzip both files to a temporary directory.
- Double click WaferID_SDK424exe
- Installation will start and a progress bar will show.
- When installation is finished, click the close button to complete the installation.
NOTE! The Wafer ID SDK 4.2.4 license file is valid only for the In-Sight 1720 Series and the Wafer ID Display Control. It will not work with any other In-Sight vision system models.
