PLCs sometimes use IP addresses in the same area as used in DataMan 8000 Wifi Base Stations resulting in a conflict. This guide describes how to change the internal WiFi addresses.

Question

The IP address used internally for the WiFi connection to the handheld reader is possibly interfering with the IP address range used by the host system like PLCs or PCs. What can I do?

Answer

Use the Reader Configuration Codes in the attached PDF to move the internal address to a different range.
