Details
In In-Sight Vision Suite, the GetX() and GetY() functions are used to extract the exact position of a decoded QR code or DataMatrix code detected by the IDMax tool.
These functions do not return the center point directly. Instead, they return the X and Y coordinates of the QR code corners, which can then be used for:
- Position verification
- Alignment checking
- PLC communication
- Multi-code tracking

Function Syntax
GetX(Structure, [Index1], [Index2])
GetY(Structure, [Index1], [Index2])
Meaning of Each Parameter (For IDMax)
| Parameter | Meaning |
| Structure | The IDMax tool cell. |
| Index1 | Corner index of the QR code |
| Index2 | Index of detected symbol when multiple codes are present |
Index1 – QR Code Corner Selection
Index1 defines which corner of the QR code you want the coordinate for:
| Index1 Value | Corner Name |
| 0 | Top-Left |
| 1 | Top-Right |
| 2 | Bottom-Right |
| 3 | Bottom-Left |

Index2 – QR Code Number Selection (Multi-Code Handling)
If IDMax detects multiple QR codes in one image, Index2 selects which QR code’s coordinates you want:
| Index2 Value | QR Code Selected |
| 0 | First detected QR code |
| 1 | Second detected QR code |
| 2 | Third detected QR code |
| 3 | Fourth detected QR code |
