Focus Controls
The Focus Controls are used to control the focus position of the lens on supported In-Sight 7000 series vision systems, by either automatically focusing the lens or moving the lens to a specific focus position.
- For In-Sight 70xx - 74xx series vision systems, the Focus Controls are only available for vision systems running In-Sight Explorer 4.7.3 or later, and In-Sight 4.7.3 firmware or later.
- The Focus Controls only work when the vision system is offline.
- The Autofocus and Save Focus buttons can also be accessed from Live Video mode in both Spreadsheet View and EasyBuilder View.
Defines whether or not the Focus Controls are enabled. By default, if a sensor has a valid default focus position, the Focus Controls are enabled; if a focus position has not been established, the Focus Controls are disabled.
Automatically focuses the lens, to maximize image sharpness within the region.
Defines an offset to be applied to the position (-100 to 100; default = 0) of the lens after Autofocus has been completed.
Moves the lens to a specific focus position and acquires a new image.
- In-Sight 70xx - 74xx series: 0 - 100; default = 0.
- In-Sight 7000 Gen2 series: 0 - 250; default = 0.
Defines whether the focus position will be saved with the job and applied to the lens when the job is reloaded. By default, the Save Focus Position with Job checkbox is checked.
