Counting Tools - PatMax RedLine Patterns and PatMax Patterns

Note:

From In-Sight firmware 5.5.0 and later, the tool's algorithm has been changed to return more accurate results and decrease the execution time in some circumstances.
Due to this change, when attempting to load a job containing this tool configured on the In-Sight firmware 5.5.0 or later to an In-Sight vision system running firmware version 5.4.x or earlier, an error message is displayed.
The PatMax RedLine Patterns Counting Tool is only available on In-Sight vision systems running In-Sight firmware 5.2.0 and later. For a complete list of models and supported firmware versions, see Firmware Versions.

The PatMax RedLine Patterns Tool and PatMax Patterns Counting Tool are used to count the instances of a pattern feature, using the PatMax RedLine or PatMax algorithm, based upon a trained representation of that pattern (called a Model).

These tools are useful, for example, in applications like counting the number of bolts on a mechanical assembly, or counting the number of vials in a tray.
