Bead Tracker Defect Detection Tool - Position Tab
When the Position tab is selected, the tool will display graphics related to identifying and/or classifying position errors in the part or object. The tool will display the last trained location of the bead as a blue polyline, the minimum and maximum thickness of the bead with yellow lines and any detected defects and/or gaps.
Defines whether or not position defects will be accounted for (by default, this parameter is enabled).
Defines the minimum value (0.001 to 1920; default = 3), in pixels, that an edge candidate may be from the center of the bead edge model and not be considered an error.
Defines whether or not size criteria are also used to define position errors (by default, this parameter is enabled).Size errors are found along the length of the edge.
Defines the minimum defect size (0.001 - 1920; default = 3), in pixels; continuous deviations from the polyline which are less than this value are not considered defects.
Defines the maximum defect size (0.001 - 1920; default = 1000), in pixels; continuous deviations from the polyline which are greater than this value are not considered defects.
Defines whether or not the tool will account for area defects; by default, this parameter is enabled. Area defects account for the length along the polyline and how far the defective edge is from the polyline.
Defines the minimum area defect (0.001 - 1000000; default = 10), in pixels; an area less than this value is not considered a defect.
Defines the maximum area defect (0.001 - 1000000; default = 1000000), in pixels; an area greater than this value is not considered a defect.
Displays the total number of defects, gaps and/or position errors that were detected.
