Setting Up the Group Math & Logic Tool
Note: This tool requires other Location and/or Inspection Tools to be used as inputs. Assemble the other Location and/or Inspection Tools that will be used as inputs to this tool prior to adding this tool; otherwise you will be unable to construct the Expressions and will have to add the necessary Location and/or Inspection Tools and then return to this tool after having configured the other tools.
Once the tool has been added, you will need to define which tools will be a part of the group.
- After adding the tool, EasyBuilder examines your job and lists all of the tools in your job in the left-hand column in the Tool Group tab.
- Select the tools that you want in the group (hold down the CTRL key to individually select multiple tools, or press the SHIFT key to select a consecutive number of tools), and press the Add button.
- Once you've completed your group, you can select the Enable Expression tab where you can construct a customized Expression that provides logic to control the group's execution. By default, the Expression is set to 1, meaning that the group is always Enabled.
- With the tool initially configured, load several images and adjusting the tool's parameters, as needed, to compensate for your expected ranges of variations.
- Finally, if desired, use the tool's Input/Output properties to share tool data between other tools and/or other external devices.
