Resets to 0 and re-starts the sequence, beginning with the initial step at the next acquisition.

Defines whether or not the Next Step parameter is controlled by an external device; by default, this setting is unchecked, and uncontrollable by an external device. When this parameter is activated, the step number sent to the tool from the external device will become the Current Step at the next acquisition. In this arrangement, the steps do not have to be performed sequentially, and some steps may be skipped, depending upon the step number that is input (e.g. if the number of steps were 6, and the tool was currently on step 2 when receiving 5 as the Next Step input, steps 3 and 4 would be skipped).

Defines which step should begin the next step in the sequence; by default, 1 is selected. This control is only enabled if the Next Step Enabled parameter is activated. To reset the tool from an external device, such as a PLC or a VisionView® Operator Interface Panel, check the Next Step Enabled checkbox and configure the Next_Step Data Type of the Next Step parameter in the Communications Step.
