Min/Max Points Measurement Tool - Edge Scoring Tab
When the Edge Scoring tab is selected, the tool will display all of the detected edge candidates, indicated by small, color coded circles, within the region (which may be selected and adjusted) and the best-fit line or circle result. The edge candidates represent the possible edges to be considered when constructing the best-fit line or circle; adjust the parameters to isolate the desired edge candidates.
Any detected defects and gaps will also be displayed.

Defines the direction in which the tool will attempt to detect edges, relative to the region (Left-to-Right or Right-to-Left; default = Left-to-Right).
![Closed](../../Skins/Default/Stylesheets/Images/transparent.gif)
Defines the transition of the edge (Dark-to-Light, Light-to-Dark or Either; default = Either). For increased accuracy and speed, specify the type of transition.
![Closed](../../Skins/Default/Stylesheets/Images/transparent.gif)
Defines whether or not the first edge detected receives the highest consideration when determining whether or not an edge candidate meets the criteria to be considered an edge (by default, this setting is enabled).
![Closed](../../Skins/Default/Stylesheets/Images/transparent.gif)
Defines whether or not the edge with the strongest contrast transition receives the highest consideration when determining whether or not an edge candidate meets the criteria to be considered an edge (by default, this setting is enabled).
![Closed](../../Skins/Default/Stylesheets/Images/transparent.gif)
Defines a scoring threshold to filter out edges with scores (0 - 255; default = 10) lower than this value.
