Smart Settings
The Locate Part and Inspect Part tools that define Circles and Edges automatically increment the Contrast parameter until an edge feature is found, allowing you to quickly set thresholds based on your application.
Note: For best results when using tools with Smart Settings, begin by training the tools on your "Pass" image.
When a Circle or Edge Location or Inspection Tool is added to your job, the tool automatically examines your image and determines the appropriate Contrast setting, and lowers it by two levels to set the threshold. The default Contrast setting is 25, and the minimum is 5.
