Locate Part
The Location Tools are used to define a feature in the image that provides positional data. The Location Tools create a Fixture, which is used to locate a part in the image quickly and reliably, even if the part being inspected rotates or appears in different locations in the image.
Note:
- If your job does not require positional data, or your part will be presented to the In-Sight sensor in the same location in every image, see Inspect Part.
- The In-Sight 2000-110 and 120/120C vision sensors allow you to add only one fixture to a job.
- The Links tab is not supported on the In-Sight 2000 series vision sensors.
