SLMP Communications

The SLMP is used to transfer data to and from a Mitsubishi PLC/MC/Robot Controller and In-Sight vision systems.

To begin, first configure the parameters in the SLMP Settings tab, which defines the controller type, the IP address, port number and the source and destination registers of the Mitsubishi PLC/MC or Robot Controller, as well as timeout information.

Then, the Format Output Data and Format Input Data tabs are configured to define the tool or job data that will be transferred to and from the PLC/MC.

Note: The In-Sight 2000 series vision sensor does not support robot controllers.
