Geometry Tools - Point-to-Point: Dimension
The Point-to-Point: Dimension Geometry Tool calculates the distance between the mid-points of two input features (points, the origins of fixtures or the center of circular features), relative to an edge or line, and constructs a reference line to represent the calculated distance, as well as reporting the calculated distance.
Note:
The tool returns the results in pixels, unless the image was calibrated to real-world units (In-Sight vision systems) or Field of View (Width) was set to real-world units (In-Sight 2000 series vision sensors) in the Set Up Image application step.
The Point-to-Point: Dimension Geometry Tool is useful in situations where you need to gauge the accuracy of the alignment of an assembly.
