EtherNet/IP I/O Assembly Data Format Assemblies
The EtherNet/IP I/O Assembly Data Format Assemblies, also known as the Assembly Object, allows data to and from each object to be sent or received over a single connection. Assembly Objects can be used to bind input or output data. The terms "input" and "output" are defined from the network's point of view; an "input" will produce data on the network, and an "output" will consume data from the network.
When using EtherNet/IP for communicating with Rockwell PLCs, the I/O Assembly data attribute for the input and output data has the following formats:
Device | Input Assembly | Output Assembly |
---|---|---|
In-Sight D900 Series Vision Systems | ||
In-Sight ViDi PC | Instance 11 | Instance 21 |
