Streams

A Stream within ViDi is defined as a database of training images and a collection of ViDi tools and Designer Task Blocks that operate on that database of images. This allows you to have a single ViDi Sub Task block for your application, and merely change the stream of data flowing into the block.

Each ViDi Sub Task Block can contain multiple Streams. However, only one Stream may be active at a time. During Run Time, Streams can be switched by using the Recipes feature in Designer.

While in Program Mode, you can add, remove and select Streams either from the Properties window while the ViDi Suite Sub Task is selected in the Task containing the Sub Task, or from the toolbar within the active ViDi Suite Sub Task.
