Web Pages

Web Pages are used to create a web-based Human Machine Interface (HMI) user interface (UI) for Cognex Designer. These can be displayed on an Internet Web Browser (Internet Explorer version 11 and Google Chrome version 54 or later), using HTML5.

A configured WebHMI gives operators the ability to

Visualize data (images, graphics and/or data), for example by creating a run-time display that shows only pertinent project data.
Interact with the vision system, for example by manually running inspections, saving images, or editing certain VisionPro vision tools remotely through the web browser while the project is tested or deployed.

When designing your HMI, consider what parameters should be configurable, the level of interaction the operator will be responsible for, and the layout and presentation of the interface.
