SLMP Scanner Communications

SLMP Scanner is used to transfer data to and from a Mitsubishi PLC/Motion Controller/Robot Controller and an In-Sight vision system.

To begin, first configure the parameters in the Settings tab, which defines the connection information required to establish a connection with the Mitsubishi PLC/MC or Robot Controller.

Then, configure the Device Addressing tab, which defines the PLC/MC or Robot Controller device address and size for the various data blocks to be communicated to the PLC/MC or Robot Controller.

Finally, the Format Output Data and Format Input Data tabs are configured to define the tool or job data that will be transferred to and from the PLC/MC or Robot Controller.

Note: The In-Sight 2000 series vision sensor does not support robot controllers.
