Setting Up the Logic Math & Logic Tool
Note: This tool requires other Location and/or Inspection Tools to be used as inputs. Assemble the other Location and/or Inspection Tools that will be used as inputs to this tool prior to adding this tool; otherwise you will be unable to construct the Expressions and will have to add the necessary Location and/or Inspection Tools and then return to this tool after having configured the other tools.
Once the tool has been added, you will need to construct your Expression. The Expression text box is used to construct a logical formula of tool pass and fail results.
In-Sight 2000 Series Vision Sensors
- Construct your Expression by adding the tool's Pass or Fail result. To enter Pass or Fail result in the Expression formula editor, select the result and double-click it or press the Insert button.
- Once you have built your Expression, optionally invert the Pass/Fail logic of the tool.
- With the tool initially configured, load several images and adjust the tool's parameters, as needed, to compensate for your results.
- Finally, if desired, use the tool's Input/Output properties to share tool data between other tools and/or other external devices.
In-Sight Vision Systems
- Construct your Expression by adding the tool's Pass or Fail result. To enter Pass or Fail result in the Expression formula editor, select the result double-click it or press the Insert button.
- Once you have built your Expression, optionally invert the Pass/Fail logic of the tool from the Settings tab.
- With the tool initially configured, load several images and adjust the tool's parameters, as needed, to compensate for your results.
- Finally, if desired, use the tool's Input/Output properties to share tool data between other tools and/or other external devices.
