What is a Configuration?
Before the In-Sight OPC Classic Server can expose data to OPC clients, a configuration must be created. The configuration contains the following information:
- The In-Sight sensors from which to access data
- The symbolic names (OPC Tags) defined on those sensors which the server will expose to OPC clients.
When the server is launched for the first time, no configuration exists. In order to expose In-Sight spreadsheet cell data to OPC clients, you must create and save a new configuration.
