Connecting to an In-Sight Sensor or Emulator

The Select an In-Sight Sensor or Emulator group box lists the available In-Sight vision systems/sensors and emulators. • If you are not authorized to connect to the desired vision system/sensor/emulator, the Log On/Off dialog will appear. For more information, see Log On/Off Dialog.
  • If you are having difficulty connecting to your vision system/sensor and the network, the problem may be your network card. For more information, see Network Troubleshooting.
  • When enabling the Continuous Trigger Type on the In-Sight 2000 series vision sensor, since the CPU of the sensor gets heavily loaded, it is likely that the communication between In-Sight Explorer and the sensor fails. In that case, please choose a different Trigger Type or adjust the Trigger Interval.
  • When connecting to In-Sight vision systems/sensors, the availability of certain Location and Inspection Tools is based on the model type.
